ABOUT US
Nancy Campbell
Agency President
Director of Fashion and Commercial Print

Nancy Campbell’s professional life began at the legendary Wells/Rich/Greene, an advertising agency known for its creative and ground breaking campaigns. Working her way up from receptionist to creative secretary and then into production gave Nancy an insider’s view of advertisers needs…and pet peeves. After an agency re-organization, she found herself on the other side of the camera….as an actress. Once again, she got perspective, this time from the talent/model’s point of view.

After eight years, Nancy moved to yet another side of the industry — booking talent at one of Dallas’ leading agencies. It was here that Nancy found her true calling. In 1989, Nancy founded The Campbell Agency. With her broad experience and her passion for providing true customer service, she discovered and recruited top talent — both in front of the camera and behind the desks. The Campbell Agency is recognized as a leading agency nationwide in virtually all media and is at the forefront of balancing personal attention while providing clients state of the art support in all their casting needs. From local ads to international campaigns, Nancy is determined that each client be treated with respect and understanding for their individual needs.

Nancy proudly serves on the board of the Childen’s Cancer Fund and is involved in many charitable organizations in the Dallas area. Her spare time, what little there is, is balanced between chasing her two unruly dogs and one unruly husband around the house. Her other form of relaxation includes important missions to Atlantis at Paradise Island where the dolphins greet her by name.

Nancy Tasker Johnson
Talent Division
Film Agent
Voice Over Agent

Nancy has represented performers in Dallas for the better part of 30 years. In addition to working with top agencies in the market, she co-founded and operated The Bureau, an artist management firm, that provided a personal touch to performers. In 1991, she brought her extensive background and unique skill set to The Campbell Agency. She has extensive experience in marketing, contract negotiations and public relations. Her track record on guiding actors to the “Big Show” is one of the most impressive in the Southwest. Her contributions to the industry include past participation in Texas Association of Film/Tape Professionals, Women in Film/Dallas, Dallas Producer’s Association, Writer’s Guild of America and many philanthropic organizations such as Girl Scouts of America and as founder/director of the American Cancer Society Tennis Classic. She is an alumnus of UNT and TWU. Away from the office, Nancy is proud to be an Elder in her church. She also has a unique talent in being in two places at once — while her head remains in Dallas, her heart periodically wanders to her home state of New Mexico.

Peter John
Fashion and Commercial Print

Peter graduated from Texas Tech University with a BS in Animal Science & Genetics and immediately put his degree to good use — as a model. He was one of the most recognized faces in the Dallas market for the better part of 10 years. His aptitude for the business was recognized and he was hired and trained by Elite Model Management in New York and brought back to Dallas when Elite opened a branch. Peter joined Nancy Campbell in 1996. His understanding of both sides of the business makes him a unique asset as a booker. His ability to juggle phone calls is inspiring and his voice is now one of the most recognized in the world of modeling. His favorite downtime from the business is spent in his native New Mexico where “ranching” is still a verb.

Lindsay Weatherread
New Faces Director

Lindsay is a native of Dallas, Texas and was always interested in fashion, but her first love was dance. Formally trained since the age of 3, she won competitions on a regional and national level. Realizing that she had developed an interest in fashion design, she subsequently attended El Centro Community College for Fashion and Pattern Design, and was also a featured alumnus in their 2010 ad campaign. She is now honored to be a member of the El Centro College Fashion Advisory Board. While still in school for Fashion Design, she was signed on by Link Artist Resources as a fashion stylist and producer for print and film. Her work can been seen in and on Lucky, Domino, La Mode, Fashion Group International, Texas Monthly, Indulge, Good Day Texas, NBC, Daily Candy, Unsigned The Magazine, Neiman Marcus, D Magazine, Dallas Cowboys, UFC, and FD!Luxe, as well as in ads and more for Neiman Marcus, American Heart Association, Western and English, Doritos, Famous Footwear, Tribeza and various well known personalities and musicians. She was the costume designer for the award winning “Dallas in Wonderland” cover for the Best of Dallas 2007 Observer, and was named Best Local Fashion Designer for 2008 by the Dallas Observer. Her keen design and stylist eye, combined with her ability to "dance" around all the requirements of producing and styling new models makes her a perfect fit to develop our "New Faces."

Kateri Zapp
Assistant in Fashion and Commercial Print and All Departments

Kateri comes to us from Wade College, with a Fashion Merchandising & Marketing degree. While studying, she worked for a Los Angeles based clothing line. Kateri learned the modeling industry on the front lines during her internship with Dallas runway goddess Jan Strimple. This trial by fire has prepared her well for the fast pace of assisting the Print Division here and helping to develop new models. When not at work, Kateri keeps up on all the trends by shopping, reading and watching movies. She enjoys styling test shoots for our models when time permits and working backstage at shows that the agency is sometimes a part of. If you want to make her happy, bring her cookies.

Sharon Hendricks Howell
Talent Division
On Camera Commercial and Industrial Agent

Sharon began her career as a child performer. After realizing that she needed to be more talented, she received a Radio/TV/Film degree from the University of Texas at Austin and began her agency career as a business manager before working her way up the ranks as a voice over agent in Houston before becoming a full service talent agent. After a brief stint in Los Angeles, where she worked as a casting assistant on several major network shows and as an assistant agent for a top theatrical agency, she returned to Dallas and joined the Kim Dawson Agency for 5 years. In 1996, she opened her own boutique agency, Double Take Talent, and refined her business philosophy of common sense representation. In 2001, she joined forces with The Campbell Agency. When not helping actors advance their careers, Sharon is physically or mentally cruising the Caribbean — hence the nickname “Cruise Queen.”

Diana Dyer
Co-Director, Children’s Division

Diana entered the business on the casting side. Chasing down extras for “Walker Texas Ranger” and “Dangerous Curves” prepared her for the rigors of chasing down toddlers for our many print clients. Since 2004 when she signed on to The Campbell Agency, Diana has been instrumental in assisting parents and children in all aspects of the business from print to tv commercials. Her “eye” is one of the best in the business, as evidenced by the continued success of our Kid’s Headbook, the Casting Bible of the print world, that she produces every year. Diana has 4 children of her own, all of whom have been in the business. This makes her uniquely qualified to guide clients and parents in this highly competitive market. A double agent? Perhaps. But she’s our double agent…

Barbara Blanchette
Co-Director, Children’s Division

Barbara started in the film business in 1981 as a casting assistant and extras coordinator for “Dallas” and “Places in the Heart”. Her casting and coordinating resume includes “Necessary Roughness”, “Dangerous Curves”, “Dr T and the Women”, “Walker Texas Ranger”. Or as we like to call them — basically every film or tv project shot here in the last 25 years. If someone appeared on a show in our area, Barbara most likely had something to do with it. Due to her work on “Walker”, she dealt with many children through the show’s affiliations with Kick Drugs out of America, the Special Olympics and the Texas Youth Commission. She also cast commercials as well, giving her a great perspective on how to get our littlest clients ready for the cameras. In addition to her professional life, Barbara has raised two daughters and is still raising one husband.

Teresa Fabos
Business Manager

Teresa Fabos is everyone's Favorite Staffer on Fridays, otherwise known as Paydays. Her 20 years experience in accounting means that our clients can rest easy knowing that their money is in good hands.

It also helps that she is a self confessed obsessive clean freak; researching and locating information on projects has never been easier. Her efficiency has inspired some pranks by colleagues such as leaving rogue pieces of paper on her desk just to see how fast she can make them disappear.

When not overseeing our finances, she spends her off time as a taxi mom running to sporting events for two daughters who apparently believe they must participate in everything.

Amy Greer
Office Coordinator

Amy’s duties extend well beyond phone answering and “recepting”. Think of a circus ringmaster and you’ll have a good idea of her range. Organizing models, talent and even agents is a challenge she excels at — your basic agency questions can generally be answered and solved by her. When not guiding and steering our clients by phone, on line or in person, Amy is involved in the Dallas music scene and a noted activist assisting homeless kitties in the Dallas area.
