Nancy Campbell
Agency President
Director of Fashion and Commercial Print

Nancy Campbell's professional life began with a career in advertising at the now-legendary Wells, Rich, Greene... known at the time as one of the most creative, ground-breaking advertising agencies in the industry. Working her way up from receptionist to creative secretary, and into production, Nancy gained an intimate knowledge of ad agency life and the creative process.

After an agency client-shuffle and reorganization, Nancy landed on her feet on the other side of the camera— as an actress. Eight years later, with substantial performance experience (and a little table-waiting) under her belt, Nancy began working at the Norton Agency, booking talent for commercials, industrials, film and commercial print. It was here that Nancy found her true calling.

In October of 1989, Nancy founded The Campbell Agency. Using her broad experience as a base, she recruited the finest talent and the finest agency personnel she could find, and began fulfilling the needs of producers, directors and photographers in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, across the United States, and around the world.

Since the agency's inception, Nancy has supported the local industry through corporate membership in organizations like Texas Film/Tape Professionals, and has contributed financial and personnel resources to various children's charities. The agency's projects have included a fashion show to benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Nancy proudly serves on the boards of Fashion Group International/Dallas and the Children's Cancer Fund.

Nancy's other projects include important missions to Paradise Island in the Bahamas — including an in-depth investigative tour of the Atlantis Resort.

Nancy Johnson
Broadcast

Nancy Tasker Johnson is known for her warmth and personal attention. Since 1975, Nancy has represented broadcast, film and print performers for Dallas agencies including The Kim Dawson Agency, The Norton Agency, Dallas International Artists and Mike Beaty. Her experience also includes founding and operating her own artist management firm, The Bureau, in addition to time spent on the other side of the desk as a casting director.

Over the years, Nancy has gained extensive experience in public relations, marketing and contract negotiation, and a strong knowledge of SAG/AFTRA codes and contracts. In 1991, she brought these skills and her own very personal style of client relations to The Campbell Agency.

Nancy has helped guide several young Dallas actors to "The Big Show," including Lou Diamond Phillips, Spirit Award Nominee Vanessa Martinez (featured in several John Sayles movies, among others), Erica Page ("Second Noah") and Academy Award® winner Thomas Haden Church, to name just a few... and more are on the way.

Nancy has served as founder-director of the American Cancer Society Tennis Classic, and worked with the Girl Scouts of America, Texas Film/Tape Professionals, Women in Film, the Writers Guild of America, the Dallas Producers' Association, and many philanthropic organizations, including community service through her church. Nancy is an alumnus of North Texas University and Texas Womens University.

Nancy is also known to have a talent for being in two places at once; while her head remains in Dallas, her heart periodically wanders off to New Mexico.

Sharon Hendricks Howell
Broadcast

Sharon began her agency career in 1984 as business manager for The Norton Agency. The next few years saw a series of advancements as she became the voice-over agent at Houston's Sherry Young Agency, followed by a stint as the broadcast agent at Industry/Dallas.

In 1989, Sharon shipped out to Los Angeles to work as a casting assistant for the TV shows "A Different World" and "Beauty and the Beast," and as an assistant agent at Gores/Fields Talent Agency.

Sharon returned to Dallas and joined the Kim Dawson agency as an agent before opening her own boutique agency, Double Take Talent, in 1996. In 2001, she and her select clients joined forces with The Campbell Agency. When not helping actors advance their careers, Sharon is physically or mentally cruising the Caribbean. Hence her nickname: "Cruise Queen."

Peter John
Fashion / Commercial Print

After graduation from Texas Tech University in 1983 and a modeling career of 11 years, Peter John was hired and trained by Elite Model Management, New York. Peter was so valuable to the agency that he was brought to Dallas to open a new branch office. Nancy Campbell recognized his talent, and in August of 1996, hired Peter to help make The Campbell Agency a premier source for models in the Southwestern United States.

Peter is proud that since its founding, The Campbell Agency has become one of the most recognized agencies in the modeling and commercial world... and that his voice has become one of the most recognized telephone voices in the known universe.

Saùl Jimenez
New Faces / Development Director

Saùl (pronounced saw-ool), joins the agency with a firm history in the business. He has worked as a stylist both in Texas and California.  His past client list reads like a Who's Who in fashion - Neiman Marcus, Hermes, Horchow and JC Penney. This range helps him prepare and develop our models, both fashion and commercial, for the versatility that is expected from our clients whether they be local, regional, national or international looks, catalogue or couture. Saùl also has worked as a model booker so he understands both sides of the marketplace. It's a bonus here in Texas that he's fluent in both English and Spanish.

Barbara Blanchette
Co-Director, Childrens Division

Barbara started in the film business in 1981 as a casting assistant and extras coordinator for "Dallas", "Places in the Heart" and the numerous TV movies that were kind enough to film in Texas during "The Boom". She continued through the 90's casting and coordinating on "Necessary Roughness", "Dr T and the Women" and the popular "Walker Texas Ranger". Basically, anyone who has been on a film or tv set in the last 20 years has gotten there with Barbara's help!

Through the years she branched out on her own, casting commercials for such clients as Radio Shack, Boy Scouts of America and Black Eyed Pea Restaurants.

Due to her work on "Walker", she dealt with many professional and non-professional children through Kick Drugs out of America, the Special Olympics and the Texas Youth Commission.

In addition to her professional duties, Barbara has managed to raise two almost grown children. With her outstanding professional accomplishments, coupled with her understanding of what is required of children and their parents, she will be an excellent guide for our littlest clients... with or without backpack and compass

Diana Dyer
Co-Director, Childrens Division

Diana is excited to be working in the Campbell Kids Department. She joins the agency side after spending ten years as an assistant casting for such projects as "Walker, Texas Ranger", "Dangerous Curves" and various tv commercials and made-for-TV movies.

Diana attended Texas Tech University, studying both radio/tv/film and dance.

She has four children of her own, all of whom have been in the business. This makes her uniquely qualified to assist both clients and parents in our highly competitive market. A double agent? Perhaps. But she's our double agent
